If there is any doubt that the left's rise in power in the last few months has inspired activity that is more Un-American than Kim Jong Il playing the April Fool's Nazi edition of Call of Duty (if you're a liberal reading this...its the one where they win the war) this news story should put that all to rest.
Pastor David Jones and his wife Mary have been told that they cannot invite friends to their San Diego, Calif. home for a Bible study — unless they are willing to pay tens of thousands of dollars to San Diego County.
On Good Friday we had an employee from San Diego County come to our house, and inform us that the Bible study that we were having was a religious assembly, and in violation of the code in the county." David Jones told FOX News.
I'm not going to bore anyone with the obvious fact that this is an across-the-board violation of the 1st Amendment that is so clear it makes fresh mountain air as thick and dirty as President Obama's tobacco tarred lungs. Just know that it is.Add a comment
Did he or didn't he?
This is probably one of those occasions where "no" indeed means "yes". Of course Biden revealed the location of the secret Vice Presidential bunker, but now officials want to act like he doesn't know what he is talking about...not realizing that only his opinions are screwy...not facts.
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the princes of greed. He said, 'look, here's what happened.'"
hmmm...that doesn't...help...Add a comment
Sorry about the title....I saw the new Star Trek and it was AWESOME.
Its not nearly as awesome though as the backwards bizarro world I'm finding myself in where roughing up someone for information only works on "24" and "UFC Apprentice" (oh man I would love to see Trump try to fire one of those guys).
On the subject of "enhanced interrogation" this guy....
Ali Soufan, an FBI special agent from 1997 to 2005, told members of a key Senate Judiciary subcommittee that such "techniques, from an operational perspective, are ineffective, slow and unreliable, and harmful to our efforts to defeat al Qaeda."Add a comment
Pelosi issued a statement after CIA records released this week showed that Pelosi was briefed in September 2002 on the interrogation methods. The briefings memo appeared to contradict the speaker's claims that she was never told that waterboarding or other enhanced interrogation methods were being used.

I don't talk about or incorporate enough faith (Christian faith specifically) in my blog entries...probably because I'm trying to poke fun and use humor, which always comes at the expense of someone or something, and there isn't a lot of room for humor in the teaching of Jesus because he is literally talking about life and death...not very funny subject matter. Mel Gibson tried to tackle that glass ceiling a few years ago and in my humble opinion he failed miserably.
I want to though! I don't have my abilities without Him, I don't have ANYTHING without Him.
Granted, I'm no preacher...I couldn't even convince water to be wet. I did try once to convince Donald Trump to do a combover, but I don't know how that ended up working out....but in any case it wouldn't hurt trying give Him a little shout out once in a while.Add a comment
There once was a time when the Republican Party was associated with the color blue, and since 2000 it has been red at the dictation of the news media and quickly adopted into pop culture. That has drawn complaints from some the new party of "no" because everywhere else in the world blue is the color of conservatism and red is attributed to more left-wing parties.
Joseph Farah of World Net Daily wrote a particularly whinny column about this after the last election...and as a result WND has courageously announced it will no longer be using the red state blue state paradigm, period (the punctuation, not the connotation).Add a comment
