Crappy Tax Day!Add a comment
This is not a very new video, according to the YouTube page it's at least 5 months old, but I just found it and it's importance cannot be overstated.
Welcome to the side you were always on Senator Guillory.Add a comment
I was going through some old bookmarks and I found this video that I marked to watch but hadn't (h/t BigFurHat at iOwnTheWorld)
I forgot about it (obviously) and it's a shame it took 2 years to get around to it, but I'm very glad I did.Add a comment
Even though there isn't anything earth-shattering said in the video I just find it to be really cool as a piece of history to witness the "wonderment" that "overwhelmed" President Eisenhower over advances in what we now consider to be Stone Age level technology.Add a comment
If you don't want to watch the whole thing skip to the closing at 13:26, it's GOOD stuff.
The only time I got a chance to go to CPAC (so far) was in 2012, and right before he spoke the ballroom had a decent amount of vacancies, but as the time for him to speak drew near it gradually got to a point where it was standing room only. It was a great speech, and this one is even better.
I never completely soured on him during the amnesty debate, and this speech is the main reason why.Add a comment
“By ignorance we mistake, and by mistakes we learn”
So what happens when open minded progressive students get a chance to put their mouth where other people's money is?
Why is it different? These girly boys are not man enough to admit their hypocrisy, that's why.Add a comment
As a graphic designer this is a subject that has been interesting and frightening to me for a long time now. Check out this fascinating and important video on iconography from Bill Whittle of Pajamas TV its 8 minutes long, but its so good it feels like 30 seconds.
I actually saw this video months ago, and it has served for inspiration and motivation for several pieces I've done (and can be found on my art page) since viewing it...Add a comment
