It seems that rational Americans are seeing the Fort Hood shooting for the terrorist attack that it is. The rest of us (the royal "us"...I really mean our media and politicians) are suffering from mental constipation when it comes to actually getting a grip on this fact.

One guy, however, is also simultaneously suffering verbal diarrhea.

Oh, I definitely think Chrissy was talking for the sake of talking. His show is, after all, a talk show...but how do you meander a rant into "its not a crime to call up Al Qaeda, is it?"

Its like accidentally saying you molest children....

Matthews doesn't even believe his own words he has no clue what his positon is. I think I am going to experiment and see how long it takes for someone to catch on. I'll start calling and writing today, after all Hassan was at this for some time wasn't he? If I was sitting in my home, contacting Al Qaeda and sending emails to them, how long do you think it would be before the FBI raided me?
